Delete your account
You can delete your Shelf Life cloud account, and everything it keeps on the server, with or without the app.
What goes
The account, your email address, the cloud copy of your shelf, the device ids, your friend code and name, your friend links, your shelf on show, Shelf Court summonses, arcade scores, your blocks, and reports made by you or about you. All of it, at once, for good. There is no undo.
What stays
The household on your phone or in your browser. It lives on the device, not the server, and stays until you clear it: clear the site's data in the browser, or uninstall the app. Back it up first if you might want it.
In the game
- Open the game at srmcno.github.io/ShelfLife in any browser, or open the app.
- Choose More, then Cloud save.
- If this device is not signed in, choose Already have an account? Sign in on this device and enter the code we email you. On a browser with an empty shelf this brings your household there too, and it stays after the account has gone.
- Choose Delete my cloud data and account, then Delete for good.

Delete the account for , and everything on the server? The shelf on your devices stays as it is.
Deleted. The account and everything the server held for it are gone. Any shelf on your devices is still there, and entirely yours.
This edition of the game has no cloud save switched on, so there is no account on a server to delete. Your household lives only on your device.
If you cannot sign in
An account without an email can only be opened from the browser or phone that made it. If that has gone, or the code never arrives, ask through the issue form and say it is a deletion request. Issues are public, so please do not post your email address there: we will arrange a private way to confirm the account is yours, then delete it.
